completed in 134 ad by roman emperor hadrian, the ponte sant'angelo is lined by ten angels.
it connects to and spans the tiber with three arches.
experimenting with light attempting to demonstrate the energy and flow of the tiber river below the ponte sant’angelo. the light creates eddies around the sculptures that line the bridge and flows past like water. varying currents create varying intensities of light and accent different forms along the bridge. the light bends and reaches around the sculptures as it streams along its course. transformative play of light, shadow and color.
